Monk Fryston Hall, in the Vale of York is a fantastic location for any wedding. It is set in 30 acres of beautiful lawns with flower lined woodland waterways. Its romantic bridges makes a fantastic wedding setting. The building dates from the 13th century and still retains much of its original character. Thankfully the weather allowed us to get outside and make the most of the beautiful setting. The waterway and its reflections made for some really beautiful wedding photos. Further, the photos continued when the sun went down with some creative use of off-camera flash. I love shooting in natural light but the opportunity to use flash really does allow for creativity, as you will see in the use of the umbrella in the photos below. I really enjoyed shooting wedding photography at Monk Fryston Hall and look forward to retuning soon.
