Cockley Woodland Weddings is a truly unique wedding location and provides the perfect backdrop to the wedding of your dreams. This natural venue is set within 8 acres of mature natural woodland and dates back to the 1790’s as part of the Whitley Beaumont Estate. It is conveniently located on hills between Huddersfield and Wakefield in Yorkshire and offers amazing views of the surrounding area. Within the venue, festoon lighting leads the way through woodland trails from the large carpark to the celebration area with its outdoor and indoor covered canopies. Around you is handmade wooden furniture and seating totally in keeping with your natural surroundings. Fire-pits, Shepherd Huts and the woodland bar add to the atmosphere of this amazing and beautiful venue. As a result the opportunities for outdoor wedding photography are almost limitless and, with my knowledge and skill in ‘after dark’ shooting we will create something really special for your wedding day memories.
