New to landscape photography, or a keen amateur, but struggling to get the best out of your landscape photos then this course is for you. Attending a beginners workshop with Tony Reed Photography will help you to transform your landscape photos from the ordinary to the extraordinary.  I have a selection of workshops and locations throughout the year designed to allow you to photograph beautiful seasonal locations that shows off our countryside in all its natural beauty.

This workshop focuses on the beautiful Swaledale and the fabulous Spring buttercup covered fields.

WHO ARE THE COURSES FOR ?

These photography workshops are for complete beginners or those new to landscape photography. Also suitable for those who have photography experience but need help to compose better shots.

WHERE WILL THE COURSE BE HELD ?

The course will commence at Muker in Swaledale and will involve a 1-2 mile walk on trails from there to shooting locations. See the list of other locations and dates available below.

WHAT TYPE OF CAMERA DO I NEED ?

Any camera or phone capable of taking a photography is fine. If you have, and use a tripod, three bring it along too, although it is not essential.

GROUP SIZE ?

Groups will consist of 5 students or fewer to ensure you get sufficient support from the workshop leader.

IS THERE ANY COURSE MATERIAL / LITERATURE ?

Yes, you will be supplied with PDF downloadable course notes designed to reinforce your learning from your workshop and act as a reference guide.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING ?

• Suitable clothing to the conditions and waterproofs if rain is forecast.
• An umbrella, dependent upon weather forecast.
• Walking boots / shoes.
• Camera / camera phone.
• Tripod if you have one.
• Manual for camera or have access to it.
• Filters if you use them, but not essential.
• Water.

WEATHER ISSUES

I will look to shoot in all conditions, but these are are obviously not know at the time of booking. Weather can be unpredictable and I will ensure the route takes this into consideration. IF the weather conditions dictate that photography is not possible, or the conditions are dangerous, then I will have the final decision on the running of the workshop. This will be communicated as far in advance as possible and alternatives dates will be arranged.
